It's been an exciting few months for us and this summer saw Welsh bad boys Matthew Pritchard and Lee Dainton launch a nationwide search to find our new face of Criminal, in conjunction with renowned model agency Storm Model Management.
After a tough deliberation process, the judging panel including Sarah Vickery Head of men's division at Storm, our very own Erin Donohoe and Chris Manning from Criminal, Matthew Pritchard and Lee Dainton, decided on 27 year old DJ Michael Walsh from Hertfordshire who was crowned the face of Criminal at a top London venue.
A talented DJ who also writes urban music from Hip Hop and Drum and Bass to Dubstep, described himself in his entry as 'cool' and 'urban through and through'. Michael impressed us with his dedication and passion for music - as well as working in a mastering department of a top London studio, he also DJs in his spare time.
Michael said "I can't wait to get in front of the camera, I've already started thinking about how I can bring my talent to the photo shoot by fusing music with fashion."
As the new face of Criminal, Michael has an exciting life ahead of him! He'll be the centre of a campaign set to appear exclusively in House of Fraser stores nationwide and is currently working with the Criminal design team to have one of his creations produced by the label, which will be sold in store as part of the new Spring/Summer 2009 collection.
Criminal is set to lead the way for the future face of fashion, selecting models that encompass the entire package of talent, personality and attitude.....watch this space!
